I have a close friend that fosters and sometimes adopts dogs at a local rescue home and she often asks me to come with her to shoot them. This one was adopted by her and his names is Kaiser. He was a beautiful dog, put down in 2014 because he had cancer of the throat and these photographs became something incredibly special to Julia and her family. Not being a dog lover myself, Kaiser was very special for me as he had a lovely, calm temperament and he didn’t lick people (which is something that totally grosses me out) and I became very comfortable around him and other dogs.
We went to Marbury Country Park to take these photos and as we were there, the bluebells were in their final days of being out. I loved the scenery created by such beautiful and delicate flowers so also took the opportunity to catch some of them too.
