Mr & Mrs Oughton

beanie@beaniephoto.com Weddings

Almost 600 miles, 3 nights, one stop in Oxford and two bags of fruit pastilles.

Becki and Dan’s wedding was truly beautiful, their decoration was simple and elegant, their guest list was short and select, and they enjoyed a (mostly) sunny and love-filled day to celebrate their two lives becoming one. Becki and Dan met through a mutual interest on Facebook and since then their friendship and relationship have grown stronger with time.

In the presence of Dan and Becki, I felt incredibly content and comfortable; happy. Anyone that knows the couple will tell you how instantly friendly and approachable they are. Their easy-going natures allowed for experimentation and a bit of playful photography. They were willing to try some funky poses and allowed me to be myself behind the camera but mostly I enjoyed capturing the happiness and laughter that filled the day. They had very few worries, if any, and simply were able to enjoy becoming husband and wife.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Becki and Dan for asking me to be their photographer. What an absolute honour to capture such an important day in a really lovely couple’s life and they really reminded me how much I love a good wedding. I must say, it was hard not to cry during the ceremony and speeches… I had to remind myself that if I cried I wouldn’t be able to see and that’s quite important!

Mr and Mrs Oughton, please enjoy your photos, I hope you can look back on the day with a smile for many, many year to come.
